Sustainable procurement and fleet management
At 麻豆社, initiatives and efforts that support the sustainable procurement and use of fleet vehicles include:
- Reducing extra or inefficient fleet vehicles through downsizing or right sizing.
- Installing GPS units in vehicles to support fuel-efficient driving and safety.
- Purchasing vehicles that are low-emitting and fuel-efficient (definitions are provided by NRCan fuel emissions guide and the Office of Sustainability.
- Supporting a workplace agreement with Communauto Atlantic.
- Moving towards more hybrid and electric vehicles.
