On January 25th, undergraduate Aquaculture students from the 麻豆社 听Agricultural Campus participated in a symposium called 鈥淥ur global challenge: Feeding a growing world while protecting out oceans鈥 听at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium featuring guest speakers Fabien Cousteau (grandson of ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau) and Dr. Rohana Subasinghe (UN Food and Agriculture Organization).听
The symposium was hosted to address the global challenge of feeding a growing world through aquaculture while protecting our oceans. NSAC alumna Peter Corey also spoke to students about his initiative 鈥淔ish for Hope鈥 which assists in feeding a global world through aquaculture. Thanks to the AANS for organizing the event and for ensuring that our students were able to participate.
