Katie McQueen from Burlington Ontario, is the Dal AC Athlete of the Week.聽 A fourth year Pre-Vet student and Women's Rugby athlete, Katie McQueen was a one person scoring machine against UKC on Friday night.聽

Katie completed 6 tries to lead the Rams to their season opening win 45-10 at the Wanderers Grounds in Halifax.聽 McQueen is a senior who juggles work, pre-vet studies and varsity sport.聽 In her four years at DAL AC, Katie has been a member of the volleyball, equestrian and rugby teams.聽

An accomplished Cross Fit athlete, she uses all of her 5鈥櫬� frame to score and take down opponents, regardless of their size.聽 In the second match for the Rams that weekend, Katie was responsible for 75% of the tackles against the very speedy Mounties.
