World Coffee Caf茅 鈥� Respecting Our Farmers and Respecting Our Environment
Improving farmer and environmental respect through our worship of coffee. Students are encouraged to share stories of coffee in their culture. Presented by Living Earth Council (Truro and Area),聽DASA (Dal AC), NSCC Student Union,聽Just Us! Coffee Roasters Co-op聽and Seeding Ideas: a seed Library. 聽This free聽event is a celebration of friendship which everyone is welcome to attend.
From聽7-9pm the聽MacRae Library聽(麻豆社 Agricultural Campus) will feature a World Cafe with coffee samples from around the world,聽including Kopi Luwak (one of the most expensive coffees in the world that has been made from the聽part-digested coffee cherries eaten聽by the Asian palm civet)and Japanese jelly coffee, as well as a screening of the film "Black Gold". This film tells the story of 聽struggle to keep聽74 000 Ethiopian coffee farmers from being exploited and has changed the way millions of people drink coffee.
