Research / Practice Interests
A licensed architect and urban designer in Germany, Catherine Venart founded iip, an international platform of trans-disciplinary collaboration, participating in various scaled projects/competitions that analyze and respond to the specifics of context. Her research focuses on documenting, analyzing, and representing our relationship to the environment. Her current focus is on change and how culture intersects territorial ecosystems/watersheds, uncovering/layering spatial temporal dimensions in order to renegotiate the singular specificities of architectures, infrastructures, and urbanizations.
