Dal's 3M National Student Fellows took centre stage during last week’s Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education conference on campus, inspiring their peers and teachers from across Canada to push for unity, collaboration and empowerment.

This August, Â鶹Éç will welcome students and researchers from all over the world to campus for the 14th annual International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (ICMRM).

Toward 200: Dal's Faculty of Management is working on projects for Dal's 200th that will shape the landscape of campus and explore how its grads have helped shape public life in Canada.

There is much still to be done in Â鶹Éç’s ongoing efforts to build a more diverse, inclusive university community. But the past two years have seen a great deal of change, noteworthy progress on several fronts, and a reinvigorated sense of purpose.

Toward 200: For Dal's bicentenntial next year, the Faculty of Health Professions will be celebrating healthy living in all its forms, with an exciting public conference/community workout, a scholarship campaign and more.

For Rebekah Bailey, travelling across the country to study Food Business at Â鶹Éç was just the beginning of a journey that would take her around the world.

A new $2.1-million investment from the federal government will help Dal researchers, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Health Authority and German medical technology company Brainlab, build on advances in precision cancer-treatment technology and bring them more quickly to patients.

Toward 200: Architecture & Planning will offer Dal and its communities an interactive look at how the university's campuses have grown and changed over its 200-year history.
