Nova Scotians have some of the highest rates of melanoma in Canada.
The Â鶹Éç Environmental Health and Safety OÂffice invites members of the Â鶹Éç Community to visit the TanCam Booth at the Dal Sub from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 26.
The TanCam is a camera that uses special technology to show the real and permanent skin damage caused by UV rays, even if it’s not yet visible to the naked eye.
The TanCam is on campus courtesy of Sun Safe Nova Scotia and the Canadian Cancer Society.
