Our colleagues at IWK Health Parking Services have reported an increase in individuals parking at the IWK鈥檚 University Avenue parkade to access university properties.

We wish to remind our Dal community that the IWK parkade is for patients, families and visitors to the health centre and should NOT be used for university parking.

With construction underway on their new emergency department, IWK parking is more limited than usual, and it is critical that parking be available to those who need to access the health centre.

Please note that as per IWK parking policy anyone identified as using the IWK parkade for non-health-centre purposes will receive an extra ticket / fees that can represent a 200% cost of daily fees.
