Â鶹Éç Women’s Connection

Empowering women

Â鶹Éç Women’s Connection is a collective of alumni who have been, and continue to be, focused on the empowerment of Â鶹Éç women and the enhancement of the student experience. Through events, programming, and community collaboration, the Women’s Connection encourages fellow alumni to contribute to the advancement of women and a positive experience for all Â鶹Éç students. 

Â鶹Éç Women’s Connection operates on Â鶹Éç’s core values of diversity, inclusion, empowerment, and equity with members participating at varying levels of commitment, locally and across the province and country.

Our story: a history of community involvement

The Â鶹Éç Women’s Connection (formerly the Women’s Division) has a rich history in empowering women and enhancing the student experience.

Over the years, the group has strengthened and contributed to the Â鶹Éç community through:

  • Supporting student scholarships, bursaries, and awards opportunities
  • Hosting signature events like the Student Musicale in partnership with the Fountain School of Performing Arts
  • Overseeing the upgrades and improvements to Shirreff Hall’s Victorian Lounge, library, and study hall 

Our mission

The Â鶹Éç Women’s Connection’s mission is to advance the best interests of Â鶹Éç, by engaging women alumni and everyone in enhancing the student experience and empowering all women in Â鶹Éç's community.
