The 2025 Stanfield Conversation, taking place at 麻豆社 on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 p.m. (AT), will welcome featured speakers: Asha Rangappa, Senior Lecturer at Yale鈥檚 Jackson School of Global Affairs and former FBI Special Agent and Wayne MacKay, Professor Emeritus of Law, Schulich School of Law.

The Centre for Study of Security and Development held a discussion titled 鈥淧uppet Masters and Peacekeepers: A Conversation about the Past, Present, and Future of Proxy Wars鈥�. This event was led by Jekobe Craig (POLI MA Candidate) and Cora Fletcher (POLI MA Candidate).

In Liberia, Prof. Tasker held meetings with representatives from civil society organizations, police, magistrates, and prosecutors, and validation workshops to discuss earlier research with groups of war-affected women in Montserrado, Bong, and Nimba counties. In Rwanda, she met with colleagues from HEAL Africa-Goma, to kick off new research into the impacts of forced displacement on women's legal decision-making following sexual and gender-based violence.
