Connect With Us
We know that deciding to pursue a law degree is a big decision, just as we know how overwhelming the application process can be. Whether by connecting at a recruitment event, answering questions by email, or meeting one-on-one with an admissions advisor, we are here to support you in navigating this journey.
Attend A Recruitment Event
Throughout the fall, we engage in recruitment events, school fairs, and in-person and online information sessions.

Email Us
Emailing is the easiest way to connect with our admissions team, to have your questions answered, to book a time to speak with an advisor or one of our student ambassadors: law.admissions@dal.ca.
Please note that during high-volume times, there may be a delay responding.
Talk to a Current Student
While the admissions team is here to answer your questions and provide insight into the program and admissions process, we recognize the valuable insight that comes from speaking to someone who has experienced them as well.
We created our student ambassador program to connect applicants and accepted candidates with current students so that you can learn from their experiences. Ambassadors come from diverse backgrounds and experiences and are available to provide general information about their experiences with the application process, tours of the law school, and insight into the JD program, living in Halifax and the process of transitioning into law school. They can also help you make informed decisions about your educational options and introduce you to resources available, while sharing their unique experiences as a law student.
Meet with an Advisor
As much as we hope you will find our website helpful in answering all of your questions, we know that it is not always the case. And while some questions are easily and happily addressed via email, others may take a more in-depth conversation. For that we have admissions advisors available to discuss your application and unique circumstances that the website could not address. We are happy to meet in person or virtually.
Take A Tour
The Schulich School of law offers tours of the Weldon Law Building, led by one of our law ambassadors or member of the admissions staff.
